GUNNER ROBERT WATMORE
This memorial to Gunner Robert Watmore is set in the grass at the front of some old people's flats close to The Metropole Hotel on the west cliff.

I would love to write a bit more about Robert, if you feel it would be appropriate. We pass the memorial often in our walks on the cliff, and my children always make me read out the inscription to them.
